I KNOW WHAT I’M DOING WITH THE REST OF MY LIFE
Yes friends, you read that right. I, Megan McCluskey, just stated that I know what I am doing for the rest of my life. And for some of you that know me, probably find that extremely shocking and unbelievable because of my fickle track record. And some of you have watched me pray, seek the Lord, cry, panic, etc as I have prayed about ‘what’s next?’ for what seems like an eternity to me. But it’s true, I know exactly what it is.

Serving the Lord, getting to know more of Jesus, loving others, taking care of the hurt and downtrodden, being an agent of redemption, sharing hope..I could go on. But this is real and this is what I feel like the Lord has lead me to do for the rest of my life. I know, it’s not what you were expecting. It’s not a 40 hour week, 9-5, nice, cozy, American dream job. In fact, I don’t know what it will look like at all times. But I know what it will look like for the next 11 months and it is the World Race!
I am going on an 11-month mission trip with a backpack, tent, and an awesome team of people! I have an amazing opportunity to travel to 11 countries and love the people in each of these places. We will be teaming up with different churches and ministries, helping in all different kinds of ways. Some months we may take care of orphans, in some we may teach English, in others, we may be scraping poop. (I’m actually not so sure about that last one. I kind of hope not, but ya never know!)
This is an amazing opportunity that the Lord has brought me to. I humbly pray that the Lord uses me during this adventure and that I get to serve His people. I also pray that the Lord continues to transform me and draw me closer to Him as I go on this ADVENTURE with him!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
